Call for Abstracts: Noradapt National Research Conference on Climate Adaptation 2026
Noradapt is pleased to announce a national research conference held in conjunction with the annual Climate Transformation Conference (Klimaomstillingskonferansen), which has been hosted in Sogndal since 2016. Our ambition is to develop this conference into a premier annual arena for the exchange and dissemination of research regarding climate projections, the impacts of climate change on nature and society, and measures to adapt to the inevitable consequences of a changing climate.
The Climate Transformation Conference is inherently interdisciplinary, targeting researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers from both the public and private sectors. It is essential that all contributors tailor their presentations to suit this diverse audience. We welcome presentations in English; however, we require that presentation slides are provided in Norwegian. Abstracts may be submitted in either Norwegian or English.
For this inaugural edition of the Noradapt National Research Conference, we aim to be as inclusive as possible. Consequently, there are no specific thematic restrictions on submissions.
Submission Deadline: April 15, 2026
Presentation Format
Presentations will take place in parallel sessions, with 15 minutes allocated for the presentation followed by 5 minutes for Q&A. Sessions will be organized thematically.
